Kokanee fishing is an obsession and as you can see by the name of the book, I am addicted. One of the most frustrating things for a Kokaholic to hear is that the fish are just not biting. Many times I have been at the ramp launching my boat when some forlorn fisherman will tell me that the bite is off. €œShould have been here last week, it was real hot.€ is another statement that I hear fairly often. This book is a must for anyone new to kokanee fishing or veteran kokanee fishermen who want to improve on their skills. I call this book "My Kokanee Fishing Bible." The author covers EVERYTHING needed to know to catch those prized "silver bullets." I've read this book several times and highlighted certain sections of the book, I usually review the book prior to going fishing to brush up on what I feel I need to know. Topics covered include, boat and gear, rod and reel, seasons of fishing, cooking kokanee, etc. I recently brought a boat and this is my first season fishing for kokanees. I've gone 3 for 3, with limits of kokanee on my first three trips! I have doubt reading this book has a lot to do with my early season success, a book I highly recommend.Product details

Very good book. I would recommend it.
Good stuff in it.
Kent's book is my new bible! This is the first year I've fished for Kokes in the summer as I generally ice fish. I've learned so much about lures, scents, jigging methods and even smoking and canning. I'm able to get my limit faster and generally am the second one in from the lake! Not bad for an older lady in a kayak. Thanks Kent!
Lots of great information. I found it hard to read with such small print. Way over priced in my opinion.
Good stuff, and very current.
A condensed how to fish for kokanee, with good color photos! It is concise and tells you in simple words what you need, how to rig it and when and why to use it. If you can read and look at photos you will be able to use this book. It's worth the price, just get it!
